Our History
November of 2018, Caitlyn was diagnosed with Bilateral Anterior Uveitis. At this time it was a struggle for her to comprehend, explain and cope with what she had. Instead of feeling sorry for herself, she decided to turn that energy into something positive.
Within the last 8 years, she has collected over 16,000 pairs of eyeglasses that have distributed to those in need. She has also advocated to make our communities safer for the visually impaired by working alongside county officials to make sidewalks more visible.
Catlyn has used her passion for helping others to create legislation to recognize the last day of February as Rare Disease day!
